Iwate Prefecture Public Hall commemorates a marriage of Emperor Showa who was Crown Prince in at that time, has been built and has completed it in 1927. Layout is Hibiya Public Hall and Sato Koichi which designed Waseda University Okuma lecture hall. The modern make which decorated an outer wall with a brick then was also unusual at Tohoku. The interior is the art deco style, and beautiful relief of plaster and the balcony where a graceful curve is drawn are striking.
