Morioka Craft Products

Morioka Handi-Works Square
Morioka Handi-Works Square is near Tsunagi Hot Springs, which is affectionately known as the inner room of Morioka, and is a facility where visitors can get a close look, and even touch and experience various handicrafts. There are workshops for things like Nambu Cast Ironware, dyeing textiles, and Nambu Sembei with first rate artisans crafting products every day. Sometimes you can buy an item that is just right for you while speaking with the craftsman about the products and how they are made. There is also a Nambu Magariya traditional style house unique to the region located on the grounds, and an exhibition of farm implements.
To contact individuals outside of normal hours, use the phone numbers listed for the individual workshops.
